Only Legions which are Tier 3 or higher are eligible for this program.

How do I know if my Legion is Tier 3?

Legions which have a Legion Commander who is Tier 3 or higher are considered a Tier 3 Legion.

Applying for this process will give you a distinct advantage when it comes to winning the competition.

Legions which have their application accepted are allowed to work together as an entire Legion on a single project.

Legions are encouraged to use this power judiciously and only pair up certain teams on certain projects while allowing other teams to focus on their own projects.

The Ignite Host is responsible for choosing which Legions get accepted, choosing only a percentage of those who apply.

Here are the factors the at Ignite Host will consider when deciding which Legions join the program.

Does the Legion encourage a deep understanding of the Legion checklist within the teams of the Legion?
Is the Legion seeking its own interest, or the interest of other Legions and members around it just as much as it's own interest?
Will the Legion be able to take on the challenge of organizing all of its teams to work in harmony on a single project?

Does your Legion go through the Legion checklist every day, even those days that don't have specific things outlined for that day? And how does your Legion ensure that teams follow their respective checklists each day as well?* This field is required.

Legions which go through the Accelerated Legion program are expected to face significant challenges in organization and communication. Therefore, ask them to share information via at least two workshops per cycle hosted by your Legion, to the benefit of other Legions and members of [P1].

They are required to record and release the contents of the workshop under our Apache open source license in order to preserve the open source nature of the organization if they do so.

Legions may need to reapply each cycle and prove they've followed the outlined process of Accelerated Legions in order to maintain access to Accelerated Legion status.

Follow checklists deliberately in order to reapply successfully.

Be aware that you're free to change parts of the checklist. Just do so deliberately and with purpose and with reason.

Workshops help Legions share information to see what's working and what's not. As a Legion Commander, please conduct two workshops per cycle. Discuss successes, challenges, learnings, and share mentorship.
