Applicants will present their initiative to Council. Dates for community grant presentations to Council are to be determined and are expected to be scheduled in November 2024 as part of the annual budget process.
Please note: Council may choose to award all, none, or a portion of the amount requested. Recipients will be notified of their application status after the budget is passed. Projects should take place in 2025.
Successful applicants who receive funding from the Municipality of North Grenville Community Grants program must report on how funding was spent and what impact the funding achieved. Reporting requirements may differ based on the size of the grant. This report must be submitted to the Municipality of North Grenville by December 31st of the year the grant was received. Failure to fully complete and submit the report may require repayment of all or part of the grant and impact future eligibility for grant funding.
The Municipality of North Grenville will not provide funding to an individual or group that supports or promotes views, ideas or presentations which actively promote or are likely to promote discrimination, contempt or hatred to any person based on race, national or ethnic origin, colour, religion, age, sex, marital status, family status, sexual preference, or disability, gratuitous sex and violence or denigration of the human condition. The Municipality reserves the right to cancel a funding agreement if any of the above-noted circumstances arise.
