We are so excited to open up the Transformation Studio for artists who need the most valuable currency in Telluride- SPACE! This option is for those who do not want or have the need to enroll in our monthly open studio option.
Participants agree to:
- bring all of their own materials/supplies. Participants have access to a 5x2.5' table, gator board, easel and chair, but no other items in the studio.
- clean up your space when you leave including the removal of all oversized trash/cardboard, wiping down your table, and returning gator boards and easels to the appropriate closet.
- take all items with you when leaving. Artwork cannot be stored in the studio. Drying paintings can be left until 12 p.m. the next day with approval from the visual arts director. Artwork will be disposed of if left for more than a day.
- refrain from using glitter, spray paint, encaustic paint, fabric dyes. Oil paints, watercolor, acrylic paints, collage, sewing projects etc. are permitted.
- take all Gamsol/solvents with them. Solvents CANNOT be disposed of down the drain, and Ah Haa is not responsible for disposing of them.
- throw all oil paint paper towels in the appropriate bin.
- appropriately dispose of acrylic paint (instructions in the studio). Acrylic paints should cannot be disposed of down the drain.
- respect other participants using the space at the same time. Artists are encouraged to collaborate in this space (don't expect silence while you're in there!) but please do not play loud music unless agreed upon with all other participants. Headhpones are always encouraged.
