Junior Awards will take place in the pavilion on Friday 18th September.

There will be various awards for Dynamos (Softball), Girls Softball, u11s, u13s and u15s. [We are planning plan to make the u17 awards at the club's senior awards evening.]

Please arrive promptly - bar open from 5:30pm - so everyone is seated by 6pm. The Softball awards will have finished by 6:30pm, after which softball players might leave (although all are very welcome to stay for the other awards). We aim to finish around 7:15-7:30. Players should wear smart, casual clothes, not sports kit.

You will need to be present to receive an award.

Teas have been a success - so we are hoping people might be able to bring a plate of food to share.

We are planning to present the u17 awards at the club's (adult) presentation evening, on September 12th. To receive an award you will need to be BOTH a club member AND attending the presentation evening on September 12th, which will take place after the completion of saturday cricket and teams playing away returning to the Victory Ground. It will cost £10, including a 2 course meal.

The next screen will invite you to make your food selection for the presentation evening.

The screen after will ask for your vote for the u17 players' player of the year. Batting and bowling awards will be decided by the coaches.

We are not voting or nominating awards for the softball teams. However, there will be awards for both the dynamos (softball) team and the girls softball team, so we hope that you will be able to attend.

Getting more involved... (parents)We are always looking for parents to get more involved in the running of Junior Cricket. In particular we need volunteers to assist with the running of the younger age groups, ie softball and U11s. But there are other options here; just tick any that you would like to get more involved; (and feel free to move on - this isn't compulsory!)
Assisting with the Girls Softball team; (we are hoping to arrange more fixtures next season).
Assisting with All Stars and Dynamos: (Sunday mornings after Easter)
Assisting with u11 fixtures.
Umpiring or scoring on Junior Match days.
Helping to run the bar on junior match days.
Helping to run the bar for other club events.
Shirt sponsorship; (we are investigating the possibility of a BSECC playing shirt for junior teams).
Helping to organise regular 'club nights' (perhaps 2 or 3 barbecues on Friday nights).
