Confirmation Retreat Permission Slip

TIMELINE:

-Friday, 7pm: Bus departs Holy Family Parking Lot for Camp Vista (arrive at 6:40pm to check in and load bus) (students to help unload bus at Camp Vista)

-Saturday: Retreat

-Sunday, 9am: Mass with Parents at Camp Vista Sunday, 10am: Retreat Concludes, Families Dismissed (There is no return bus to Holy Family at the end of retreat; retreatants will drive home with their family after Mass finishes at Camp Vista.

-Holy Family Parking Lot: 271 Fourth Street Way, Fond du Lac, WI 54937

What to Pack:

-Sleepover Items: Sleeping Bag, Pillow, Towel, Toiletries—Food: (1) A Dessert or Snack to Share with 10 on Friday Night (You can give this to the chaperones when you get on the bus). (2) Personal Snacks! Bring snacks for yourself and to share with your friends.

-Clothes: Wear something comfy on Friday, pack modest jams for overnight, and pack something comfy and casual for Saturday. Bring nice clothes for Sunday Mass.

-Alcohol is NOT permitted for minors on our retreats. Any student engaging in illegal activity during retreat will be sent home and a report will be filed with the police. Bags will be checked.)

-Cell Phones: We highly suggest that the child leaves their cell phones at home. If they are found using them during the gatherings and after lights out, we will take them from the child and give them back at the end of the retreat. Please feel free to contact us if there is an emergency.

-Camp Vista is equipped with cameras to insure our safety.

-Emergency Contact: There will be periods of time during retreat when your child may not have access to their cell phone. Camp Vista’s number is: (920) 533-4258.
