Definition of Used Equipment: Items frequently used in the process of knitting, crocheting, weaving, felting, dyeing and processing of animal fiber. This also includes books and magazines relating to the above listing. Fiber is not accepted in the Used Equipment Sale and should be sold at the Fleece Sale or by a vendor. New equipment sold by retailers and handmade craft items are not considered used equipment. ACFAF has the option of refusing and/or removing such items from the sale. All items must be clean and in good condition. Any needed repairs should be listed on the item tag.Used equipment must be registered on the ACFAF website by March 3, 2024. After you complete the Summary Sheet and Equipment Tags online, do not print the Equipment Tags. You will receive an email with the Equipment Tag for each item. Please print TWO (2) tags per item and attach both of them to the corresponding item. It is strongly recommended that items be preregistered online as it will save you a lot of time filling out paperwork and item tags at the sale. Please make copies of your summary sheets to help you remember what you brought. To Consign Used Equipment: 1. A fee of 10% of the sale price will be charged for each piece of equipment sold. All fees are non-refundable. 2. The minimum sale price per item or bundle is $10. Smaller items (such as knitting needles, crochet hooks, books, magazines, etc.) should be bundled into larger groups. Each bundle should be listed separately. Do not list or attach bundles together as 1 of 2; 2 of 2 as these will not be accepted. 3. The summary sheet must be legible and completed in full with your name, address, phone number and email address. We want to be sure you get your check. 4. The number of items you can list is unlimited. However, the summary sheet only provides for 10 items. If there are more than ten items, a second summary sheet will be required. In such a case, the first summary sheet items should be identified as A1, A2, A3, through A10. The items listed on the second summary sheet should be identified as B1, B2, B3, etc. On a third summary sheet, C1, C2, etc. 5. The item tag must be identified in the same way: A1, A2, B1, etc. so the item can be easily identified. All information requested on the tag must be complete and legible. 6. Items must have two tags attached to each item and clearly identified by the corresponding summary sheet or they will not be accepted. 7. Equipment may be delivered Thursday, September 19, 2024, from 2 pm until 7:30 pm or Friday, September 20, 2024, from 8 am to 9:30 am. 8. No items will be accepted after 9:30 am on Friday, September 20, 2024. 9. Sale hours are Friday, September 20, 2024, 10 am-5 pm and Saturday, September 21, 2024, 10 am-4 pm. Auction to be held for any items 4 pm - 5pm. 10. Unsold equipment must be picked up between 4 – 6 pm on Saturday September 21, 2024. Any equipment left after that time becomes the property of ACFAF. 11. ACFAF is not responsible for lost, missing or damaged equipment. 12. Money collected for used equipment sales will be paid by check and mailed to the consigner within 3 weeks after the festival ends.
