CSQ Funding Application

Please upload ONE of the APPROVED documents as proof that you have a right to work in Australia: 

Australian or New Zealand citzen or Permanent Resident

• Australian or New Zealand Full Birth Certificate or Birth Certificate Extract
• Australian or New Zealand Passport (up to 6 months after expiry)
• Australian Citizenship Certificate
• Green Medicare Card (current) Or my.gov - Medicare Snapshot

A Visa holder with relevant permisson to work or study and who has been working in the QLD building and Construction industry for 6 months or more. N.B This does not include international student Visas

• Employer letter (on letter head, dated and signed by the employer) confirming the participant has the right to work in the Queensland building and construction industry OR
• Visa with conditions including right to work in the Queensland building and construction industry https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/already-have-a-visa/check-visa-details-and-conditions/check-conditions-online
• NB Visas which include working rights but do not specify the industry MUST be evidenced by the Employer letter.
  
  

Please DO NOT upload a photo of your Drivers licence as evidence. We cannot accept it.

Please upload the following documents which best relates to you as evidence of being an eligible worker in the Building and Construction industry within Queensland:

An Eligible Worker: Employed in Queensland (or unemployed for a period less than 6 months) within the Building & Construction Industry:

• Relevant current Licence (Queensland Unrestricted Electrical Workers Licence or eligible QBCC licence – contact us for further information on other eligible QBCC licences) 
  AND
  The following evidence documents can be supplied after submission of your CSQ funding application:
  
• Email from employer stating duration of employment, your role in the business, and the duties undertaken that demonstrate substantial engagement in the Building and Construction industry (for example, a majority of the work completed by XX during their employment has been domestic and commercial electrical installations), Please note, the email must have a signature that identifies the business name, author of the email and authors position at the business”
  OR
• Statutory Declaration providing details of employment including, duration of employment, role and duties that demonstrate substantial engagement in the Building and Construction industry (e.g., the majority of my work completed in this role has been domestic and commercial electrical installations).
  OR
• Employer letter (on letter head, dated and signed by the employer) which states your role, and duties undertaken that demonstrates substantial engagement in the Building and Construction industry (e.g., a majority of the work completed by XX during their employment has been domestic and commercial electrical installations).
  
  

Please note: we cannot accept screenshots or printouts of the licence search as evidence of your “Relevant current Licence”. It must be a photo or photocopy of the physical licence. Interstate licences and Queensland Electrical contractor licences can not be accepted.

Please upload the following documents which best relates to you as evidence of being an eligible worker in the Building and Construction industry within Queensland:

Self Employed in the Building & Construction Industry:

• Relevant current Licence (Queensland Unrestricted Electrical Workers Licence or eligible QBCC licence – contact us for further information on other eligible QBCC licences)
  AND
• ABN/ACN registration showing ownership and 3 invoices for installation work completed in the last 6 months
  OR
• Statutory Declaration providing details of business name, length of time you have been operating your business, your role and duties within the business and the type of work you complete, e.g. a majority of the work I complete in my role are domestic and commercial electrical installations

Please note: we cannot accept screenshots or printouts of the licence search as evidence of your “Relevant current Licence”.  It must be a photo or photocopy of the physical licence.  Interstate licences and Queensland Electrical contractor licences can not be accepted. 

Please upload the following documents which best relates to you as evidence of being an eligible worker in the Building and Construction industry within Queensland:

An unemployed Eligible Worker for a period less than 6 months within the Building & Construction Industry:

• Relevant current Licence (Queensland Unrestricted Electrical Workers Licence or eligible QBCC licence – contact us for further information on other eligible QBCC licences) 
  AND
  The following evidence documents can be supplied after submission of your CSQ funding application:
  
• Email from employer stating start and end date of employment (the end date of employment must be within the last 6 months), your role in the business, and the duties undertaken that demonstrate substantial engagement in the Building and Construction industry (for example, a majority of the work completed by XX during their employment were domestic and commercial electrical installations), Please note, the email must have a signature that identifies the business name, author of the email and authors position at the business
  OR
• Statutory Declaration providing details of your previous employment including, start and end date of employment, role and duties that demonstrate substantial engagement in the Building and Construction industry (e.g., the majority of my work completed in this role was domestic and commercial electrical installations)
  OR
• Employer letter (on letter head, dated and signed by the employer) which states your start and end date, role, and duties undertaken that demonstrate substantial engagement in the Building and Construction industry (e.g., a majority of the work completed by XX during their employment was domestic and commercial electrical installations). Please note, the end date of employment on this letter must be within the last 6 months
