Maybe the bit people do not think about.
Why not get holiday insurance to cover you in case you are unable to attend this event (or any other holiday you take) or otherwise this confirms you accept in full the MJRoc T & C's and you have covered your own risk. (please inform others if you are the Lead Name for others that fall directly under this booking).
As with any holiday you book.
Deposits are non refundable. They secure your booking with our venues and the work carried out to facilitate that committment.
If you cancel and you have no insurance, you loose your money (any) paid, whatever the reasons.
Please do not blame "MJRoc" if you decided not to get holiday cover or have to cancel and its not covered by an insurance company. You have made your own decision to cover the risk of cancellations.
MJRoc has it own committments to venues it hires.
MJRoc has it costs to faciliate and operating each dance holiday and your bookings.
Please get piece of mind, soon as booked, get insured.
It is not MJRoc responsiblity to cover your risk which some expect but it is your responsibity and informing others who fall under this booking.
If you make a decision to not insure (holiday insurance companies are paid to cover your risk), you have accepted that loss risk, that if you cancel for whatever the reasons, you have fofeited what you paid.
Quote from "Martin Lewis - Money Saving Expert"
"Holidaying more than once a year? You want an annual policy. If you'll go away at least twice - even if just for weekends - it usually works out that annual policies are cheaper. They cover virtually all trips away (with duration limits). If your existing annual policy lapses before the holiday starts, while you're usually covered until it lapses (do check) it's normally best to sort out a policy now, to start the day that one ends."
