  • 1. Check brakes, motors, drums, gearboxes, bearings, & drive alignment*
  • 2. Inspect ropes, cables, hoist, and trolley spooling*
  • 3. Check electrical components for wear and damage*
  • 4. Servicing as per manufacturer’s checklist*
  • 5. Inspect rigging,hooks, slings, and shackles*
  • 6. Inspect rigging,hooks, slings, and shackles*
  • 7. Test height limitswitch*
  • 8. Horizontal trolleytravel switches*
  • 9. Check fluid levelsand lubrication as required*
  • 10. Check walkways,handrails, ladders, and cab mounts*
  • 11. Check structuralbolts and pins*
  • 12. Check structure forcracks or buckling*
  • 13. Check if wedges aresecure*
  • 14. Check aeronautical lights*
  • NOTE

    It is intended that the equipment be checked daily and weekly by the operator. Any defect must be reported under the space left for remarks. The superintendent will in turn notify the project manager and/or PCL Construction Resources Inc., who will see to it that the defect is remedied. This weekly check does not relieve the operator of the responsibility to immediately report to the superintendent any fault. This weekly report is to be retained in the Daily Checklist Book or will be available digitally within the project Egnyte folder.
