  • New York & New Jersey summer camp statutes and Scouting America (Boy Scouts of America) require individuals holding certain camp staff positions to be within an age bracket. Please select your age bracket as of June 22nd, 2025.

  • Camp staff positions start at age 16 at TMR and age 15 at Alpine.

    If you are 15 you can apply to be a Counselor-In-Training (CIT) at TMR.

    If you are 14 you could apply to be a CIT at Alpine. Click here to switch to the CIT application

  • Your Experience

  • The Greater New York Councils Camping Division operates programs year round outside of Summer Camp. This includes weekend camping opportunities, unit outreach and programing including shooting sports, climbing, aquatics and COPE training. Training is provided for staff interested in supporting these services.
