Position Overview
The Bathhouse Host will serve as the primary point of contact for our guests, providing assistance with check-in procedures, offering tours of the facility, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
This role requires excellent customer service skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Check-in and Orientation:
- Create memorable experiences for guests;
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures;
- Provide an orientation tour of the bathhouse, highlighting key facilities and amenities; and
- Ensure guests are familiar with bathhouse etiquette and safety guidelines.
Customer Service:
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, pricing, and availability;
- Assist guests with selecting appropriate memberships/casual visits and scheduling appointments; and
- Address guest concerns or complaints promptly and courteously, striving to resolve issues to their satisfaction.
Facility Maintenance:
- Monitor cleanliness and organisation of the bathhouse facilities, including locker rooms, showers, and common areas;
- Restock supplies as needed, including towels, toiletries, and refreshments; and
- Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the appropriate person for prompt resolution.
Problem Solving:
- Proactively anticipate and address guest needs and concerns to ensure a seamless experience;
- Handle any challenges or unexpected situations with professionalism and efficiency;
- Collaborate with other staff members to resolve issues and enhance the overall guest experience.
Administrative Support:
- Assist with administrative tasks such as processing payments, maintaining guest records, and updating appointment schedules; and
- Coordinate with other team members to ensure accurate communication and smooth operations.

This role requires you to have and maintain an up to date first aid and CPR certificate.
