    Tutor Application

CanU has partnered with United for Literacy to offer our CanU kids the opportunity to be tutored virtually!
  • Is there a subject that you’re passionate about?

Is there a Grade level or particular subject that you would be comfortable tutoring?

Are you free to commit your time at least once a week, for 3 months?

We’re looking to pair CanU volunteers with CanU participants that need support with school! We will set this up to meet your needs, interests and schedule.

Please note that tutoring is currently a virtual opportunity.

  • Please note that there will be a quick interview for all new CanU Tutor Volunteers who have not yet gone through the general mentor/facilitator interview process.

There will be a Mandatory Virtual Orientation with United for Literacy for ALL NEW CanU tutors. We'll provide further details at a later date.

As well, all NEW tutors must complete and submit Criminal Record Check or background check with United for Literacy prior to tutoring.
