Welcome to the BATS pitching process. If filling out this form isn't accesible for you or you have questions before pitching, please contact our Programmer, Alesha, via alesha@bats.co.nz.

BATS welcomes work from first time theatre-makers, through to established artists that are returning to BATS to experiment and develop new work. We are accepting submissions for any and all types of live art to present in any of our theatre spaces - The Stage, The Dome and The Studio. We are particularly interested in shows presenting across five nights, however we are open to hearing from those wishing to present shorter seasons.

BATS' ticketing has changed since Monday 1st April, 2024. This came after audiences surveying and artist feedback. Please create your budgets based on these options! Details are below:

Show expenditure and projected income. Please use the budget template on the Artist Resources page at bats.co.nz. We recommend you calculate based on 40% houses (tickets sold).
