    2025 Junior Cricket Registration Form

    Please complete all mandatory information below relating to your child to compete in the 2025 season at Royton Cricket Club.

  • Age Group Information (PLEASE READ)

  • Players must be under the age group age at midnight on 31 August in the calendar year preceding the playing season to compete in the relevant junior cricket age group.

    (Girls may be aged up to one year older than the age group in which they play.)


    Under 9's - School Year 4 or below. Must be age 9 or below on 31st August.
    Under 11's - School Year 6 or below. Must be age 11 or below on 31st August.
    Under 13's - School Year 8 or below. Must be age 13 or below on 31st August.
    Under 15's - School Year 10 or below. Must be age 15 or below on 31st August.
    Under 18's - School Year 11 and above. Must be age 18 or below on 31st August.

     

     Game & Training dates

    U9's - Game night: Monday evening Training night: Friday evening

    U11's - Game night: Wednesday evening Training night: Friday evening

    U13's - Game night: Sunday morning Training night: Friday evening

    U15's - Game night: Monday evening Training night: Friday evening

    U18's - Game night: Wednesday evening Training night: Tues/Thurs evening

     

    Note: U9's is softball cricket. U11's+ is hardball cricket and will require children to wear protective gear. (Detailed in below image)

    The club does hold spare protective gear for your child to try with before you may look to buy.

  • There may be opportunities for your child to play up in age groups to enhance their development and cricket experience.

    Those children in school year 8 & above, also have the option to partake in open age cricket with parental permission. (No child under 12 will be allowed to play)

    Please complete all information for the 2 best emergency contact details for your child. Both of these contacts will also be added to relevant whatsapp groups to keep you up to date on any information.
  • Medical Information

    The Equality Act 2010 defines a disabled person as anyone with ‘a physical or mental impairment, which has a substantial and long-term adverse effect on his or her ability to carry out normal day-today activities’.  Please be aware this information will be shared with coaches for the purposes of safe participation. If you do not wish for this information to be shared please make us aware.
