Gallery 195 of Boerne will respond to all applications, but it may be several weeks for review. Applications are considered with the following in mind:
- Quality and Originality - We are looking for work that shows developed skill and unique style. We want to represent work that can be identified as the artist's, more than just a signature.
- Consistency and Contrast - We are looking for work that is consistent with the audience and style of the gallery. At the same time, we desire work that does not "overlap" with another one of our artists in style, technique, and even subject at times. We want a diverse range of work covering a wide spectrum of media.
- Space - We do not always have to space to accept another artist, even if we think your work is a perfect match for our gallery. In those cases, we keep your application and contact you again when there is room.
