What does a TA do?
Becoming a TA is valuable experience. It's a year long commitment to help the teacher in a variety of ways. Your specific responsibilities will be determined by the teacher, but they generally include taking attendance, helping students accomplish tasks, ensuring the safety of students and guests, helping the teacher prepare for class, grading papers, and entering information on Schoology. Some TAs are also given teaching responsibilities, lead groups or study sessions, and even plan class activities.
NOTE: You will be receiving additional information and training before your first class, so no worries!
