CPG is a concrete trade association in the Greater Kansas City Metro Area, promoting quality concrete construction, best management practices, & serves as a technical resource to construction professionals. CPG is enthused to be part of educating and preparing our future workforce!

Two scholarships available, see details below, Gold Level up to $2500, and Silver Level up to $2000. Grants will be based on: financial need, academic achievement, curriculum, growth, character, leadership capacity, and career interest.

Applicant’s permanent residence as indicated on college records or the high school of record must be within the states of Kansas or Missouri and within a 150-mile radius of the Greater Kansas City Metro Area (KC Metro identified as: 10 counties, KS - Johnson, Wyandotte, Douglas, Miami, Leavenworth, and MO - Clay, Platte, Jackson, Ray, or Cass.)

Eligible Colleges & Universities: Kansas University, Kansas State University, Pittsburg State Univeristy, Wichita State University, Community College in and around the KC Area, University of Missoui Kansas City, Columbia, Rolla, and William Jewell College. Any of the 5 Concrete Industry Management (CIM) Programs in the U.S. qualify: South Dakota State Univeristy, Middle Tennessee State University, Texas State Univeristy and California State University Chico, and New Jersey Insitute of Technology.

Scholarship applying for:

Gold - Up to $2500. Engineering Students pursing Bachelor of Science or higher degree that includes concrete & concrete design courses. Must be enrolled in or have completed concrete or concrete design courses, or completed at least 60 credit hours toward their major degree. Part-time students will be limited to junior class status or above.
Gold Level: List concrete and concrete design courses taken and date completed or to be completed.
Scholarship applying for:

Silver - Up to $2000. Students pursuing an accredited Bachelor of Science or Associates of Science degree programs in Construction Management, Construction Technology or Engineering Technology and must have completed at least 24 credit hours towards their major degree. Part-time students will be limited to sophomore class status or above.
Silver Level: List relevant degree major courses taken and date completed or to be completed.
List professional/student chapter organizations and positions held and any relavent extra curricular activites.*

Three References

List the names of three persons whom you have requested appraisals and recommendations. Statement of appraisal of the applicant in terms of potential for growth, character, leadership capacity and career interest. At least one must be from a faculity member. Have your references send a one page referal to cindy@concretepromotion.com no later than February 17, 2025. If they have any questions they may contact us at 913-341-5800. Please have your name as the subject matter. All references must be in by the deadline, no exceptions. It is up to the applicant to follow up with references to make sure they are in on time.
