Each family is required to purchase a ticket booklet for $100 (containing 5 tickets at $20 each). The family can then choose to keep the tickets or sell them. Additional information will be provided at a later date.

I/We the parent(s) of the above skater, accept that the Vegreville Skating Club (VSC) will not be held responsible for injuries incurred by the skater in connection with skating activities.I/We understand that the scheduled times may be subject to change.I/We understand that, as VSC members, we will be required to participate in assisting with our annual carnival or Christmas party.I/We understand that we will be required to assist with club activities when required.I/We understand that parents or siblings are not permitted on the ice surface during lessons and are encouraged to refrain from interacting with the skater during lessons as this can be a distraction for the class.I/We understand that skaters are required to wear proper fitting skates and have them sharpened regularly. Proper fitting helmets and mittens are mandatory unless coach directs otherwise.I/We understand that VSC cannot make up a class or provide a refund if there is a cancellation due to severe weather or other circumstances beyond the control of VSC.I/We understand that there will be NO refunds of membership fees after November 14, 2025. Sessions fees will be deducted up until November 14, 2025 in case of a refund. The Skate Canada insurance fees are non-refundable. However, after November 14, upon receipt of a medical certificate, the Board may elect to return fees on a pro-rata basis. ($30.00 will be withheld to cover administration costs.)I/We understand that due to COVID-19, or any other extraordinary event, VSC has the authority to modify, restrict, postpone or cancel training sessions of any kind. Refunds for cancelled programs will be on a pro-rated basis for missed classes only.I/We understand that registration fees do not include fees for funskates or competitions. Separate event attendance is at the skater/parent(s) discretion and paid separately to the host organization by skater/parent(s). If interested in attending a funmeet, please email the club expressing your interest and to request further information.I/We understand that skaters in StarSkate are required to be evaluated at each level/stage. Each evaluation will incur a separate Skate Canada evaluation fee, to be billed to the skater separately.I/We understand that if the registrant is in StarSkate and in level Star 6 or higher, the skater will need to travel for testing days and incur out of pocket costs above and beyond the Skate Canada evaluation fee.I/We authorize VSC to contact us via e-mail for informational purposes.I/We understand that if the club pursues a small fundraising endeavor that every family will be required to participate.I/We understand that from time to time photos may be published in local papers, arena displays and/or social media.I/We understand that due to COVID-19, or any other extraordinary event, VSC has the authority to modify, restrict, postpone, or cancel training sessions of any kind. Refunds for cancelled programs will be on a pro-rated basis for missed classes only.Refunds or make up sessions will not be offered for sessions missed due to minor illness (colds, flus, including but not limited to COVID-19, or any other extraordinary event), vacations, competitions, tests, management disputes or due to skater suspension or expulsion by the club. All other special requests by members are subject to board approval.I/We understand that the 2025-2026 season may have specific COVID-19 or other protocols, regulations, and checklists that all families will be required to follow if designated to by Skate Canada, Skate Alberta-NWT and/or the Government of Alberta.I/We understand that we may have to complete a self assessment checklist, if applicable, for each participant and spectator prior to every skating session and log our attendance of all attendees (skater and spectators) prior to entering and exiting the arena. Failure to do so may result in loss of skating fees and expulsion from the skating club.
