Weekly Service Opportunities
Please indicate which service opportunities you would be interested in volunteering for during the school year. These will occur every week once the school year begins.
Run The Race
Run the Race is a day school that serves inner city children in Columbus. Students will help children with their schoolwork and do fun activities with them. Bring running shoes because the kids will think they're faster than you. Bonus if you have experience with younger siblings.
Women's Care Center
Women's Care Center provides free, confidential counseling, support and education for pregnant women. Students will help babysit kids during parenting classes, assemble client gift bags, bundle diapers, greet clients, and help out in various other ways. If you like babies, you'd probably be good at this.
Holy Family Food Pantry
Students will help make sandwiches that will be handed out to the homeless. There will also be opportunities to go into Columbus and give sandwiches to the poor.
Gladden Community House
The Gladden House provides a variety of volunteer opportunities for students. Opportunities include helping with after school programs for kids K-12th grade, working in their food pantry, and playing games or spending time with the senior community.
