• THE BEAUTY HUB AMBASSADOR APPLICATION

  • The Beauty Hub Ambassador Program offers UC Berkeley students the chance to create content on behalf of the organization. Verified ambassadors will have their content featured on The Beauty Hub at Berkeley's Instagram account and the content-sharing app, Lumena. 


    Compensation Opportunity: 

    Only videos that meet Lumena's content requirements are eligible for compensation.

    Ambassadors can unlock rewards from the content they produce as long as each video meets the following criteria: 

    • Video format
    • Longer than 20 seconds
    • Includes the ambassador’s face
    • No filters used
    • Related to a beauty product or method(s)

    Ambassadors are not required to maintain the above qualifications, however those videos will not be eligible for prizes within the content roadmap. We welcome all types of content, including makeup and hair tutorials, skincare routines, product reviews, tips, and hacks.

    Content Roadmap: 

    After the 3rd approved* video, ambassadors will win a merchandise package. 

    After the 5th approved video, ambassadors will win a $25 Ulta giftcard. 

    After the 10th approved video, ambassadors will win a $30 Sephora giftcard. 

    *In order to ensure quality content, Lumena reserves the right to reject any video that does not meet their basic requirements. If your video does not meet their standards, you will be notified and given the opportunity to make modifications. Alternatively, the video may be posted without eligibility for rewards. Each approved video will count as one entry in the content roadmap.

    Program Expectations:

    • Ambassadors' photos may be displayed on The Beauty Hub's Instagram account.
    • Ambassadors must produce at least two videos per month to maintain their status.
    • If unable to meet the monthly video quota, ambassadors should communicate their situation or reapply at a later time. 

    We encourage beauty enthusiasts who enjoy creating content for fun to join the program! This is a great opportunity to create beauty-related content with minimal commitment while reaching a wider audience. Unlike our officers, ambassadors are not required to attend weekly meetings, and videos can be produced on their own schedule.

  • Please upload a carefully thought-out, edited video that showcases the type of content you would create as an ambassador. This video is subject to be posted on the account. Consider this your first actual video as an ambassador! 

    Requirements:

    • Must be longer than 30 seconds
    • Must mention "The Beauty Hub at Berkeley" (either with text on the screen, or as an intro/outro; for example: "Welcome to The Beauty Hub at Berkeley" or "Thanks for watching The Beauty Hub at Berkeley" (Talk as if you are already associated with the organization).
    • Must be beauty related (makeup, hair, skincare, etc.)

  • III. Agreement

  • By marking "I agree" below, I confirm that I understand the expectations of The Beauty Hub Ambassador Program. I agree to produce at least two videos per month and understand that not meeting this requirement could result in losing my ambassador status. I also understand that only videos that abide by Lumena's content requirements will be considered in my content roadmap and eligible for compensation. I will communicate if I'm unable to meet the requirements and may need to reapply if necessary.
