  • Want to enjoy riding, but don't want to commit to caring for a horse full time? We understand! We are inviting you to be a part of the FAMILY.

    Depending on your experience, comfort, and skill with horses, you will have the option of choosing from a group of horses and picking one that suits you. We prefer leasing to an individual with experience (or an advanced rider) who can execute tasks with the horse by himself/herself (18 or older Lessee also has the option to request lessons weekly. The lessee will have access to the horse the majority of the time at his/her leisure upon notice and will NOT have a maximum number of rides during the week, unless necessary. If the lessee is not an advanced rider, he/she will have supervised rides to guarantee his/her safety at times convenient for supervisor. Rider's options will be discussed more in-depth upon contact.

    Please inquire about other potential lease options if horse(s) is/are no longer available. We teach safety on and off the horse, corrective behavioral measures, positive reinforcement, and so much more. Send an email with further inquiries. We'd be happy to begin your journey riding and confidence building! Lessons start at $50/hour.

    Lease/Price Options: 3 days (preselected days) - $375 Unlimited/unrestricted riding - $385/month which requires Long-term leases are preferred (3 month minimum

    "Price" covers one (1) month. Pricing covers our care and maintenance of the horse, while your responsibilities are limited to love, respect, and taking good care of the horse while in your care.

    You will be responsible for paying half the vet bill if anything goes wrong with the horse while you have the horse. Such as any injury to the horse that may occur while you are riding. You will also be responsible for feeding the horse when taken the horse off premises . Lessee has the option to rent tack for a small fee ($15 to $30 in addition to "price") or provide his/her own. If lessee decides to rent tack, he/she will have access to a specific set of tack (saddle, saddle pad, bridle, brush, comb, etc, all items necessary for horse to be ridden.

  • The lessee will be instructed to sign a Horse Riding Agreement and Liability Release Form. Horses have a mind of their own and are subject to unpredictable behavior (refer to quoted text below

    NC GENERAL STATUTES states the following (99E-1. Definitions, 6a): "'Inherent risks of equine activities" means those dangers or conditions that are an integral part of engaging in an equine activity, including any of the following: a. The possibility of an equine behaving in ways that may result in injury, harm, or death to persons on or around them."

    By signing this contract, you are aware that any injuries you have while riding my horse, your safety is at your own risk. I will not be responsible for anything that happens to you during this lease.

    Money will be required at the signing of the contract. Also, if you lease a 3mo contract the first month is due at the signing of the contract. If you need to discuss a payment arrangement for 3months, you will need to talk to me prior to signing the contract.
