2024 Social Work Awards (at the Hawai'i Behavioral Health & Wellness Convention)

NASW Hawai'i Chapter annually selects members who have made significant contributions to the social work. The categories for awards are:

Lifetime Achievement

Practitioner of the Year

In any field of practice.

Social Justice/Advocacy

Friend of Social Work

This award recognizes a someone that is not a social worker who has supported the profession or social work issues.

Legislator

This award recognizes a legislator who is consistently supportive of social work causes and positions.

Award recipients will be honored at the Awards Luncheon at Romano's Macaroni Grill at Ala Moana, during our Conference, on Friday, September 20th.

This is an excellent way to acknowledge an employee, co-worker, supervisor, administrator, friend or colleague who you believe exemplifies what it means to be a social worker. Through these awards, we convey our acknowledgment and appreciation of honoree’s efforts and dedication.
