What are Adverse Childhood Experiences? According to the CDC, Adverse Childhood Experiences, or ACEs, are potentially traumatic events that occur in childhood (0–17 years). ACEs can occur in homes, the environment, and in our community. Learn ways to reduce the effects of ACEs on one’s health and wellbeing.
