This portal includes payment options for each of the three field trips that the forth grade will take in the 24-25 school year. You have the option to pay for one at a time, or you can add all three to your cart and pay for them all at once. Please make a note of the payment deadline for each trip. No refunds or exchanges. Gemological Institute of America (GIA)-ONLY 4th Grade is visiting the Gemological Institute of America in Carlsbad again this year! We will be visiting in November and December (date varies by class). The trip is a two-hour program that brings gemology to life, inspiring students to learn more about the natural world as well as careers in science, gems, and jewelry. Students will work toward grasping the marvels of geology firsthand — examining gems, minerals, and jewelry using microscopes, pen lights, and more to uncover the wonders of earth science. Students will also take a tour of the museum and will get to take home a fun souvenir to remember their trip! Deadline for payment: December 2nd, 2024

Mission San Luis Rey de FranciaStudents will visit the Mission San Luis Rey de Francia on Friday, January 24th, to see and celebrate so much of what we have learned in Social Studies this year! We will have a presentation from the docents in the Mission church before having time to tour the grounds in small groups and each lunch. Highlights will include the church, museum, cemetery, lavanderia, the courtyard with the first peppertree in California, and the beautiful grounds. Deadline for payment: January 23rd, 2025
