Before accessing the online portion of the Girl Scouts of Gulfcoast Florida Inc. Small Craft Safety Training: Canoe Kayak (AKA gsLearn Module 314 -- Small Craft Safety Training: Canoe and Kayak), the learner must first agree to the following Recipient Use Agreement. GSGCF will grant the learner access to these materials only on the condition that the learner accepts all the terms and conditions contained in this agreement.
GSUSA has granted GSGCF access to GSUSA WATER SAFETY CURRICULUM MATERIALS for the express purpose of providing small craft safety training only to the GSGCF council, council employees, volunteers, participants and members.
By signing this agreement or by downloading, installing, accessing or using any part of these GSUSA WATER SAFETY CURRICULUM MATERIALS, the learner acknowledges that the learner has read this agreement and the learner understands its terms and conditions.
I am receiving the Girl Scout Small Craft Safety Training Materials in my capacity as a Volunteer for Girl Scouts of Gulfcoast Florida Inc. I understand and agree that:
- I am receiving the Girl Scout Small Craft Safety Materials, including all manual, course curricula, videos, and other materials (together, the "Materials") for the purpose of providing small craft safety training only to Girl Scout participants and members ("Recipients")
- I may use the Materials only in order to meet Girl Scout Safety Activity Checkpoints and the Volunteer Essentials for safe participation in and leadership of official Girl Scout activities involving small watercraft. (the "PURPOSE").
- I will not copy or use the Materials for any other purpose than the PURPOSE, and I will not sell, transfer, give, or otherwise use the Materials for personal gain or for any other purpose than the PURPOSE. I will not removeany disclaimer or Acceptable Use Language from the Materials and I will not alter them in any way.
- I will indemnify and defend my Girl Scout Council and GSUSA against any loss, cost, claim, expense or action arising directly or indirectly from the unauthorized distribution, unauthorized or improper use, misuse or mishandling of the Materials by me or by Recipients to whom I have distributed the Materials.
- GSGCF will distribute the Materials only to staff or members ("Recipients") who will provide or facilitate Girl Scout water safety training, who agree to only use the Materials for the PURPOSE.
- GSGCF will maintain record of the name, email, home address and telephone number of each Recipient to whom the Council has transmitted any of the Materials and the date and means of transmission, and GSGCF will provide this list to GSUSA.
- I understand that my Council and GSUSA will not certify me and that my use of the Materials will not qualify me for any certification or credential. I will stop use of the Materials and will obtain the return of all copies upon instruction by GSUSA or GSGCF.
