Recreational Fall Tuition Policy

Our Fall tuition is broken into 11 equal installments.

Tuition paid in full for the year is non-refundable and non-transferable.
All accounts not paid in full must provide a credit/debit card to guarantee the account.

Although installments are due on the 1st of each month, they are not monthly charges. Installment 1 is non-refundable and due at the time of registration to confirm your place on the roster. Installments 2 – 11 are due on the 1st of each month, from September 1st to June 1st. If tuition is not paid by the 5th of the month, a $10.00 late fee will be added to the account. All accounts may be paid by cash, check or credit/debit card. There is a $25.00 fee for a returned check.

Spotlight Studio offers a free autodraft service that can be billed automatically between the 1st - 5th of each month. Please remember to update your card information with any changes.

Payment is due in full, regardless of student's attendance.
Regular attendance is encouraged and expected.

Spotlight studio follows Chesterfield County Public Schools’ for inclement weather closings only. We close in addition for Fall Break, Halloween, Winter Break, Spring Break, and Memorial Day. If Spotlight Studio closes due to inclement weather, we do not provide make up classes. Classes must meet a minimum enrollment of six students or the class may be dropped.

Spotlight Studio must receive written notice by October 31, 2025 to cancel the contract. After this date, you are confirming your place in class and will be responsible for all tuition for the rest of the season.

One costume will be provided for each hour of instruction, provided the dancer dances in the recital. Only accounts fully paid by recital will receive costumes, be able to perform, and purchase show tickets. Spotlight Studio breaks its recital into multiple casts but there is no guarantee that multiple classes or family members will be able to perform in the same recital cast. Spotlight Studio can use photos of your registered dancer in promotional material.

I understand and acknowledge the physical nature of dance and accept the assumption of risk. I release Spotlight Studio of Dance inc., its directors, employees and instructors from any and all claims of liability arising from any accident, contagion (Covid-19), personal injury or property loss, or damage, sustained by my child, myself, and family while participating in any and all activities connected to Spotlight Studio of Dance Inc.

If Spotlight Studio of Dance inc. should need any legal action (including arbitration) to interpret and or enforce the terms and conditions of this agreement, Spotlight Studio of Dance inc. shall be entitled to costs and reasonable attorney’s fees upon prevailing.

Our Summer tuition is a one time payment due at the time of registration.
