ACTION! Club Registration Form

Calliope Stage Company and WCU'S School of Stage & Screen have joined together to pilot ACTION! Club in the Fall 2024 semester at Cullowhee Valley School.

ACTION! Club is an outlet for creative and theatre-curious youth in our community to explore storytelling and theatrical creation. The program is designed to foster the minds and well-being of elementary-aged students by providing spaces and opportunities to create theatrical performance both onstage and off. So your child does not have to be intersted in being onstage to come create with us!

ACTION! Club Students use collaborative play and process to create new theatrical performances and design elements to say what they want to say in the ways they’d like to say it, developing their skills and confidence in creativity, critical thinking, problem solving, teamwork, goal setting, and inclusion.

ACTION! Club will meet once a week on Thursdays after school until 4:15pm beginning Sept. 5th.

****Space is limited in our program. Registrations will be accepted on a first come first served basis. We will continue to accept registrations on a waitlist basis. You will receive notification via the email address you provide confirming if we were able to accept your registration. Thank you!***

NOTE: Over the course of the semester, we will be working towards creating a final showcase of student work. Because theatre is a collaborative creative process requiring a group of people to commit to a shared project, we ask that you only register your child if they are able to commit to the full semester of meetings.
