ACC Board members have responsibilities for general governance of the Club as well as responsibilities for the VP or Officer position they hold. Board Member Elegibility

Applicants must meet the following qualifications: 

• Be at least 18 years old 
• Not have been declared incapable under the laws of a Canadian province or territory, or by a court in a jurisdiction outside Canada 
• Be an individual (that is, a corporation cannot be a director) 
• Not have pled guilty to or been found guilty of an offense, nor be under any current charge or indictment. Additionally, candidates must not have been a director or officer of a company involved in similar offenses or legal proceedings. 
• Not have been involved in any personal or corporate bankruptcy, creditor arrangements, or legal asset management in the past 10 years, including as a director or officer of a company under similar circumstances. 
• Not be, or have ever been, subject to any proceedings, penalties, suspensions, disqualifications, or settlements related to violations of securities laws or regulations by a securities regulatory authority or self-regulatory entity. 
• Be proficient in the required competencies for the role they have applied for.
