This is the application for pet dogs needing a good home. Pet dogs listed on Nexus Trails have either been dropped from the service dog program (career changers) or are being placed as a pet with potential prior to any task training. A pet will not be given service dog rights. They will be contracted as pets only. If this is a CAREER CHANGER - We work tirelessly to help all of our dogs succeed and thrive in an environment best suited for them. If they have been career changed to pet only, we have decided that they will be unsuitable and/or unhappy as a service dog. Please do not adopt one of our career changers with intent to make them a service dog.
