  • Grand Island Business Blueprint Workshop

    The Grand Island Business Blueprint Workshop is facilitated by City of Grand Island, Central Community College, and Grand Island Area Economic Development Corporation. Funding is made possible through the City's LB840 program.
  • Participants must meet all of the following qualifications:

    • Actively developing a business in the high- wage, high- skill, high- demand (H3) skilled trades industry. Skilled Trades are defined as occupations that require a specialized skill, knowledge or ability which can be obtained at a college, technical school or through specialized training.
      Manufacturing, technology, welders, machinists, mechanics, tool and die makers, programmers, electricians, plumbers, gasfitters, carpenters, bricklayers, insulators, construction technicians, HVAC, drywallers, concrete finishers, landscapers, etc.
    • Be available during the dates of the workshop (April 2 - May 7, 2026). Participants will be required to actively participate in a classroom like setting once per week (Thursdays, 6-8p).
    • Commit to one-on-one coaching with Central Community Center-Entrepreneurship Center. 
  • By submitting this application to participate in Grand Island Business Blueprint Workshop I agree to attend all classes, allow my photo to be taken and shared, and utlitze the grant towards business expenses such as equipment, software, marketing, business space rental, professional services, etc.
