Acts is the story of how a few Christians empowered by the Holy Spirit were chosen to bring Christ and the Good News to the ends of the earth. 

They faced secular forces, internal strife, and hostile crowds, and despite all this, they brought the kingdom of God to a broken world and the love of God to the hearts of men. Acts: The Spread of the Kingdom will help you to see your place in the Church as a disciple of Christ.

 This is a 20 week study. We start our meetings with prayer and discussion and they ends with an approximately 1 hour long video featuring Jeff Cavins.

No preparation is needed for the first meeting. Please bring your Bible (NAB or RSVCE suggested) and a copy of the Catechism of the Catholic Church to the first meeting. It is suggested that you set aside about 1½ hours for preparation for each week’s classes after the first meeting.

Location: Our Lady of La Salette Parish Activities Building, 2599 Harvard Road, Berkley 48072.

Dates: This study starts Tuesday, October 8. The meetings run each Tuesday (excluding holiday weeks) and are scheduled to conclude in March 2025. The schedule will be provided at the first class.

Cost: $28.00 includes the workbook.

The workbook is provided at the first in-person class. If you intend to participate by Zoom only, you can pick up the workbook at the parish offices or have it mailed to you.
