400 North REALTORS® 2024 Leadership Academy Application
The 400 North Leadership Academy is designed to promote growth, involvement, and leadership within the 400 North Board of REALTORS® and the real estate community through education, training, and professional development. The program will provide quality enrichment opportunities, challenging participants to grow personally and professionally through self-understanding and refinement of leadership skills.

IMPORTANT DETAILS:

Up to twelve (12) participants will be selected. Applicants must be a full-time, active 400 North REALTOR® and remain a 400 North member for the duration of the program. It is recommended that applicants have at least two year of licensure and a minimum of five closed or leased transactions to qualify for the Leadership Academy.

» Applications are accepted until 5:00 pm on October 31st..

» The fee to participate will be $200 and will be due upon submission of your application. If you are not selected for the Academy, your $200 fee will be refunded. Checks can be mailed or delivered to 5784 Lake Forrest Dr. Atlanta, GA 30328.

» The proposed 2024 schedule is as follows. Specific dates are to be determined. Sessions will be held in person and attendance is required to all sessions. You will be allowed one excused absence. Please note that these sessions may run from 9 AM - 4 PM, with lunch being provided.

- December 12, 2024 - 400N Holiday Luncheon
- January - The Importance of Association Involvement and Advocacy, Team Building Activity, Introduce Community Service Project
- February - GAR Legislative Day “Day at the Dome” - Shuttle will be provided
- March - Parliamentary Procedures, Roberts Rules of Order, attend a BOD meeting with the class
- April - Negotiation Tactics and Communication Styles Using DiSC
- May - Community Service Project Workday (planning due)
- August - Past President's Panel
- September - Public Speaking Class
- October - Impact Day (How has the Leadership Academy impacted you)
- December - Graduation at Holiday Luncheon

» To graduate from the program and be recognized at the 2025 Christmas Luncheon and Installation in December, participants must:
- attend all sessions, one excused absence is permitted
- attend Day at the Dome, the BOD meeting day and Impact Day
- attend one or more 400 North Committee meeting by June 30th
- Be a full time REALTOR® and 400N member in good standing
- attend a one-on-one meeting with an assigned Board of Director mentor by June 30th
