  •  Team Rules

    1. **Team Size**: Each team participating in the Lip Sync Battle fundraiser can have a minimum of 5 members and a maximum of 10 members. Teams must finalize their members before the event.

    2. **Fundraising Goal**: Each team's goal is to raise a minimum of $2,500 for the Event. Teams can use various methods such as online crowdfunding, seeking sponsorships, or organizing additional fundraising activities.

    3. **Performance**: Each team will perform a lip sync routine to a song or medley of songs of their choice. The performance should be entertaining, creative, and family-friendly.

    4. **Judging**: A panel of 3 judges  will score each team's performance based on the following criteria. (10 PTS) lip sync accuracy, (10 PTS) creativity, (10 PTS) stage presence, (10 PTS) costume (how authentic is your group’s look compared to the original artist) , and (10 PTS) overall entertainment value.

    5. **Time Limit**: Each team's performance should not exceed 5 minutes. 

    6. **Prizes**: The Golden Microphone Battle Champions, Peoples Choice, Top Fundraiser!

    Best performance, most creative!

    7. **Peoples Choice **: In addition to ticket sales and sponsorships, audience members can make donations to support their favorite team. 

    8. **Promotion**: Teams are encouraged to promote the event through social media, flyers, word of mouth, and other means to attract fans to support and cheer them on. 

    **Event Logistics**

    Show Thursday - March 13th at 6:30 pm the Forum River Center

    Rehearsal Wednesday - March 12th at 6pm Forum River Center 

    10. **Deadline**: group registration closes Feb 21st.  

    11. **Have Fun**: Most importantly, teams and participants should have fun and enjoy the friendly competition while working together to support a worthy cause through their energetic performances.
