This form is to register your Expression of Interest (EOI) for the 2026 Brolga 7s Program, competing at the 2026 Junior State 7s Championships at Ballymore Stadium, Brisbane, on 14–15 November 2026.
2026 Brolga 7s Training Sessions Training sessions will be held on Sundays at Mike Carney Toyota Park.
- Session 1: Sunday, 6 September 2026
- Session 2: Sunday, 13 September 2026
- Session 3: Sunday, 20 September 2026
Additional training sessions: Dates to be confirmed (TBC) Further information regarding training times and additional sessions will be provided once confirmed.
FEES: Please note the operational cost of the Junior Championships due to the TDRU (Townsville and District Rugby Union) will be approximately $1000 - $1200 per player Fees have been already subsidised by the TDRU thanks to sponsors and fundraising. Please note there will be a separate tourament fee from QRU closer to the date, we are unsure how much this will be. Also, players aged 19 and under may be eligible for the $500 athlete travel assistance grant.
The TDRU levy will cover:

➢ All training sessions and activities.
➢ Flights to and from Brisbane
➢ Transport in Brisbane
➢ Most meals in Brisbane besides:
• Friday November 13 morning breakfast – before your flight out of Townsville.
• Sunday November 15 evening meal – before your flight out of Brisbane to Townsville, cash will need to be organised.
➢ Accommodation for Friday 13 and Saturday 14 November at the Sleeman Sports Complex.
➢ Indoor pool recovery sessions
➢ Strapping tape
➢ Physiotherapist on tour and trainings
