Anouk Eigenraam (born 1977) was a correspondent in China from the summer of 2019 until the spring of 2025. She worked for outlets including Het Financieele Dagblad, BNR, and Algemeen Dagblad. Before that, she worked for NRC, BNR, and Sprout, among others. In 2016, she spent a year living in South Korea to write a book about the international adoption industry. Her book Welkom in Adoptieland was published in 2017. She studied Journalism at Utrecht University of Applied Sciences and History at Erasmus University Rotterdam.
