  • Ribbon Cutting Request Form

    Planning a celebration? We'd love to be a part of it! We'd like to help your business celebrate a Grand Opening, Ribbon Cutting, or Groundbreaking!

  • As you prepare for your special event, here are some guidelines to keep in mind:

    • Your company must be a member of the Greater Vancouver Chamber to access our tools - Please take a couple of minutes to fill out four short questions below and we will send you the tip sheets and info on borrowing the scissors
    • If you would like a Chamber representative to attend, this service is operated on a "first come first served" basis with a limited amount of celebration slots available each week - the farther out you can plan, the more choices you will have. And you must provide at least 14 days notice for this (trust us ~ planning a good event requires ample time and thought!)
    • After you answer the following questions, a Chamber representative will contact you within a couple of business days to discuss your needs and what options are available.

    We offer Ribbon Cuttings on: 

    • Tuesdays at 10:00 AM
    • Thursdays at 4:00 PM*

    *Please keep in mind that we will be unable to attend Ribbon Cuttings on the following Thursdays in 2026:  August 6th, September 24th, November 26th, and December 24th as we have conflicting events and/or are closed.*

    Help us promote your event!

  • To help us create your event listing, please provide the information you'd like us to share with the community. We recommend including:

    • A brief overview of your business
    • Why you're hosting a Ribbon Cutting
    • Any exciting news (new location, anniversary, expansion, new ownership, etc.)
    • Event highlights such as tours, refreshments, door prizes, demonstrations, or special promotions

    The more information you provide, the better we can promote your celebration.
