Our Board currently has 4 standing committees. Please check the committees that you would be most interested in joining.

Internal Affairs Committee ensures the smooth and effective operation of the arts council's internal functions and oversees the development, implementation and evaluation of the organization's programs and services.
External Affairs Committee works to enhance the arts council’s public presence, build strategic relationships, and secure the resources necessary to achieve its mission.
Governance Committee ensures the board operates effectively and ethically, aligns with the arts council's mission and values, and leads the recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing development of board members.
Grant Committee oversees the administration of subgrant awards and actively seeks and writes grant proposals to support the arts council's mission and programs.

Time Commitment: Board members may expect to spend about 10+ hours per month on reviewing meeting materials including financial statements; preparing for and attending organization events, committee meetings, and board meetings; and working to complete their board or committee assignments.
