The Native Prairie Restration/Reclamation Workshop Planning Committee is now accepting abstracts for poster presentations for the 11th workshop, February 12-13, 2025 at the Atlas Hotel in Regina, SK. The workshop will include oral presentations, case studies, panel discussions, tradeshow and poster session.
About NPRRW:
The workshop theme is "Collaborative Approaches to Prairie Conservation".
Attendance of approximately 250 participants is expected, including government, environmental non-profit organizations, industry, research and academic institutions, environmental consultants, land managers, agriculture and more.

Poster authors will need to bring a printed version of their poster to display at the workshop. The posters will be visible for the duration of the workshop. Presenting work as posters, allows authors to interact with attendees and discuss their research at length. Posters can be in the beginning phases of projects, project plans, or student projects. Authors are requested to be available to discuss their posters during the designated poster session (February 12th, 5 PM-6:30 PM). Guidelines for posters will be available on the NPRRW website in the near future.
The submission deadline for poster abstracts is December 6th, 2024 at 5 PM CST. Abstracts must be under 250 words, and should include a statement of objectives, brief description of methods, results, lessons learned and conclusions. Projects need to pertain to native prairie restoration or reclamation in some way. Do not include author information in the abstract.
If unsure if your poster would be suitable, please contact Caitlin at caitlinmroz@hotmail.com. Notice of decision will be made by early January 2025 via email.
Posters Presenters have the option to be judged based on their presentation, significance of their research to the industry and the design/art of their poster, taking place on Wednesday February 12th and the winner of the poster contest will be announced at the banquet.
