Center Teens 2024-25' Application

Must currently be in high school! Center Teens is a work development program for teens interested in growing as young professionals. Center Teens work with teen programs staff to participate in work opportunities at Hyde Park Art Center, completing projects while working with other departments, community members, and events. A stipend will also be provided for all participants for group work. Teens a part of the Cohort are REQUIRED to be available for the Hyde Park Art Center Gala, November 15th.
PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS:
- Applicants should have an interest in graphic design, marketing, or public relations work. An ideal Center Teen is someone who is eager to work, creative, comfertable in social settings, and willing to learn.
- Participation is important to the health of Center Teens. Therefore, only two absences will be allowed per term, any further absences will result in being dropped from Center Teens Fall Term cohort.
- Applicants should have the ability to attend virtual and in person meetings. Schedule is TBA
APPLICATION PROCESS:
- Complete the application in its entirety with genuine answers and accurate information.
- Candidates will be selected based on their applications.
- Decisions will be made by September 16th.
