City of Alamogordo, NM Local Hazard Mitigation Plan Update - Open Comment Period Survey

Overview: The City of Alamogordo, in partnership with BOLDplanning, Inc., is in the process of updating the City's Local Hazard Mitigation Plan Update (LHMP). Mitigation planning helps local leaders better understand risks from natural hazards and develop long-term strategies to reduce future events' impact on people, property, and the environment (2019). As a part of the activity, the City of Alamogordo is seeking feedback from residents and businesses to incorporate into the plan. Please review the plan's draft located on the City's website and use this survey to provide feedback and input on this Hazard Mitigation Plan Update before submission to the New Mexico Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management (NMDHSEM).
