The Connections Ministry exists to help you build a solid relationship with an FBC family. You will be prayed for, have a home away from home, be treated to meals, and know that someone in Montgomery is here for you! These families could also be phenomenal mentors for you this year!

Expectations/Requirments
- Full school year commitment: September 2026 - April 2027.
- Meet with your family at least once a month. Your family will reach out to you to make these times together happen. (Make time for them)
- Be respectful of your family's time and resources.
- Attend First Baptist Church. These are FBC families that you would be paired with, so it would make sense for you to attend FBC and to call First Baptist your church while you're here for college! You'll be able to better plug into the life of our church this way as well! Seeing your connection family on a Sunday morning when you're in town is always a great blessing!
- Get to know your family and let them get to know you--they truly want to connect with you! They've committed to loving, serving, and encoring you, so don't ghost them!
*Connection Families Ice Cream Fellowship (Sunday, September 27 | 7:15pm-8pm | First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall)

We will officially kickoff our Connections Ministry on Sunday, September 27! At this Ice Cream fellowship you will meet your Connections Family. This will be a great hangout time for you to meet your family, build a connection, and get to know one another better!
