    Welcome to the Solfest Team
  • We are delighted that you want to be part of the Solfest family. This year's festival runs from 21st - 24th August 2025 and we need volunteers onsite from Wednesday 20th (for inductions) until Monday 25th August to assist with helping our lovely customers to get off site and homeward bound.  We also need volunteers to help us break down the festival once our customers have gone home.

The festival relies on its volunteers to make it a safe, fun, exciting and beautiful space for families to enjoy. Your contribution is invaluable. The team at Solfest want you to have a great experience with us. We will provide you with any training and induction that you need for your role, provide a safe social space where you can spend time with other volunteers and crews. You will have a dedicated crew camping area, crew catering (a meal for every shift that you work), and the opportunity to learn new skills and make new friends. There are some fantastic networking opportunities too. Many of us that now manage crews started off as volunteers!

During the Build and Break the shifts are long and we ask for a commitment of a minimum 5 days prior to the event, for this you will receive 3 x crew meals for each working day (if you work 7 days or more you receive 3 x crew meals per day during the festival weekend too!) as well as have the entire live event off to enjoy.

For roles during the live event you are required to work 3 x 6 hour shifts or equivalent of 18 hours, whatever works best for you and your crew leader.

We do ask for a deposit of 90.00 (plus £3 booking fee). The deposit is refunded within 2 weeks after the festival and it will be paid back to you via your original payment method through Skiddle. If you sign up and do not attend the event or you do not complete your shifts you will forfeit your deposit, so please only sign up and pay your deposit if you are committed to volunteering with us.

So, if you are over 18 and wish to volunteer with us, please complete the form and the volunteer coordination team will be in touch with you shortly. Welcome to the Solfest family!
