Job Description:
As a Radio and Digital Salesperson at Radio Woodstock, your primary role will be to prospect, engage, and secure new clients through a strategic sales approach. You will leverage your keen observation skills to identify potential advertisers, research their needs, and present compelling advertising solutions that enhance their brand visibility.
Key Responsibilities:
Prospecting and Client Engagement:
Identify potential clients through observation of current advertisers and market analysis.
Conduct thorough research on each client to understand their business goals and advertising strategies.
Creative Proposal Development:
Craft personalized emails to introduce Radio Woodstock’s advertising capabilities and propose creative ideas tailored to each client’s branding objectives.
Follow up with a phone call to discuss potential collaborations and further elaborate on proposed advertising strategies.
Send handwritten letters to express appreciation and reinforce the value of partnering with Radio Woodstock.
Client Meeting and Proposal Presentation:
Schedule and conduct meetings with prospective clients to understand their current advertising efforts.
Present innovative advertising strategies leveraging Radio Woodstock’s broadcast and digital platforms, including paid digital advertising and digital channel promotions.
Develop comprehensive advertising proposals using Canva and write compelling commercials tailored to the client’s target audience.
Negotiation and Campaign Setup:
Follow up with the client to discuss the proposed advertising campaign and secure agreement to proceed.
Submit orders using Marketron for ad placement and production orders in Vppo for commercial creation.
Coordinate promotional activities in Vppos to maximize campaign effectiveness.
Campaign Management and Follow-up:
Ensure seamless campaign execution and monitor performance.
Follow up with clients within two weeks of campaign launch to review results and address any concerns.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in sales, preferably in radio, digital advertising, or media sales.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present ideas effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Marketron, V Creative, and Canva.
Knowledge of social media, banner ads, pay-per-click, and over-the-top television advertising.
Persistent, proactive, and results-oriented with a passion for Radio Woodstock.
