We are excited to have you participate in the Diocese of Crookston Youth Conference, held at the Sanford Center in Bemidji, MN. Below are important details regarding the event.
The DCYC will have two tracks. A middle-school track and a high school track. That way, our speakers can customize their messages to the age of the audience. We will also have a single session of adults - an opportunity to encourage our volunteers, parish youth workers and parents in the faith.
The day will be filled with many excellent, passionate speakers, including Bishop Andrew Cozzens, Brian Greenfield, Sister Elfie Del Rosario, FMA, Father Bryan Kujawa, Hope Bach, and the Bethany House Missionaries. The Jon Martin Band will lead us with music, praise and worship throughout the day, including adoration and Mass.
The cost for the day is $60.00 plus $5.00 per person for those staying for supper.
- If the youth is traveling with a youth group or parish, the payment needs to be turned into the youth minister or parish as additional traveling costs with the group parish may apply. Youth Ministers: Parishes will be billed following the conference, based on actual number of attendees of their groups.
- If the youth will be attending with their parent and are not connected to a youth group, they will need to bring the payment with them at registration on the day of the event.
Along with registration, all youth and adults attending the DCYC will need to complete the appropriate liability/medical matters forms found at www.crookston.org/dcyc and have them with the adult leaders during the event.
