Media Release

I authorize Saturday Polish School (im. Marii Chrzanowskiej) in Edmonton, AB to use any images, including video footage and photos from group performances, practices and gatherings for promotional and public purposes at any time. All usage will be of a positive nature. Individual’s personal information will be kept strictly confidential.

Harassment & Anti- Abuse Policy

Maria Chrzanowski Polish School is committed to providing and maintaining a safe environment for all members.  Any forms of harassment, discrimination or abuse will not be tolerated.  There will be zero tolerance for harassment/ abuse at the Maria Chrzanowski Polish School any form of abuse/ harassment may lead to IMMEDIATE DISSMISAL.

KASYNO Rok szkolny 2024/25 – OBOWIĄZKOWE
CASINO School Year 2024-25 - MANDATORY

Kasyno odbywa się co dwa lata i jest ono bardzo istotne dla działalności szkoły.
Środki z kasyna są przeznaczone na wynajęcie sal lekcyjnych, wypłaty dla nauczycieli, materiały szkolne oraz wycieczki. Bez tych funduszy szkoła nie będzie w stanie utrzymać się w przyszłości.W tym roku szkolnym wymagany jest 1 dyżur w kasynie od rodziny. Jeden dyżur liczy sie jako 20 godzin wolontariatu. Szczególy będa podawane bliżej terminu kasyna.

Casino takes place every second year. Funds from the Casino are crucial to the operation of the school and are used to pay rent, wages, school materials, field trips etc. This year every family is to contribute one shift at the casino. One shift equals 20 volunteers hours. Details will be provided close to the date of the casino.

Roczne Zebranie Komitetu Szkolnego - Obowiązkowe
Annual General Meeting (AGM) - Mandatory

Zebranie szkolne jest zwołane raz w roku i obecność na zebraniu przynajmniej jednego członka rodziny jest obowiązkowa. Na zebraniu poruszane sa ważne sprawy szkolne i podejmowane są decyzje, które maja wpływ na zarządzanie szkołą. Informacje odnośnie zebrania bedą podawane z wyprzedzeniem aby każdy mogł zarezerwować czas aby w nim uczestniczyć.

AGM is held once a year and at least one family member or designate must attend. Important matters are discussed during this meeting as well as decisions made. Information regarding the AGM's time and place is communicated well in advance to allow everyone to make proper arrangement to attend the meeting.

I agree to complete payment for school year 2025/26 by October 31st. Etransfer can be made to payment@polishschool.ca

If payment installments are required, I agree to contact the school and set up payment plan by October 31st.

I agree to submit a volunteer deposit cheque in the amount of $250 for 20 volunteer hours, to be completed by the end of school year 2025/26.

Once hours are completed, deposit cheque will be returned. If hours are NOT completed in FULL, cheque will be deposited at the end of the school year.
