CALL FOR ENTRY

Open to all clay and glass artists, CONNECT ONLINE is FUSION's open juried exhibition featuring new work by both members and non-members.

Submission Deadline: November 30, 2025

CONNECT ONLINE is a juried virtual exhibition presented on FUSION’s website from January 2026 to January 2027.

FUSION welcomes submissions from students, emerging, and established artists working in clay and glass. The exhibition is open to functional and sculptural works, including installations, vessels, sculptures, and wall-mounted pieces. Artists may submit up to three works; a set of related pieces may be entered as one submission.

Entrance Fee
FUSION Members: $25 + HST
Non-Members: $40 + HST
Deadline: November 30, 2025
Notification of Acceptance: December 15, 2025

Preparing Your Entry
Submit up to three digital images. Photography quality matters - please use neutral backgrounds and good lighting.

Provide a short artist statement (maximum 50 words). This may appear online; please proofread for grammar and spelling.

Complete the online submission form and payment.

Conditions of Entry
Works must have been completed after January 2024.

Only submissions where clay or glass is the primary material will be considered.

Incomplete submissions will not be juried.

Entry fees are non-refundable; all submissions must be received and paid in full by the deadline.

Sets of multiples (place settings, series, or groupings) are considered one work and must carry a single price.

Jurors’ decisions are final.

Copyright
By entering, artists grant FUSION permission to reproduce submitted images for publicity, documentation, and archival purposes. This includes but is not limited to catalogues, FUSION Magazine, the website, and social media.

Limit of Liability
This is an online exhibition—no works will be physically displayed or shipped unless sold. If sold, artists are responsible for shipping and are strongly advised to arrange insurance, as FUSION assumes no liability for loss or damage.

Pricing and Sales
Works must be priced at current market value. For each sale, the artist receives 85% of the retail price. FUSION retains 15% commission.

Payments will be processed by FUSION. Artists are responsible for shipping sold works. FUSION does not cover the cost of shipping. 

ARTIST STATEMENT

Entrants are required to submit an artist statement (50 words maximum) in Microsoft Word (.doc) or Adobe PDF (.pdf) format. This statement may appear online as part of the online exhibition and promotion. Please check for spelling or grammatical errors in advance. 

 

IMAGE SPECIFICATIONS and HOW TO LABEL YOUR IMAGE FILES

Please submit hi-res images, suitable for publication.

1. Submit only digital images with a resolution of 300 DPI or 2-3 MB minimum. 
2. Save the image in the correct orientation.
3. Photograph work against a neutral background. No textured backgrounds, please.
4. Use your full name to name your files. If submitting 3 images, please label your images 1,2, and 3. 

   For example: JoeSmith1A or JoeSmith3B

           A = the full image     B = the close-up image

The Artist’s signature on the Registration Form indicates acceptance of the Conditions of Entry.

FUSION reserves the right to use the images and promotional material submitted by participants and any photographs taken at the exhibition for promotional purposes without notice or payment to the Artist.

PAYMENT

FUSION MEMBERS: $25 plus tax for up to three entries.

NON-MEMBERS: $40 plus tax for up to three entries.
