4. Sharefile Inventory Management Method

Contact An Auction Team Member to establish a Sharefile link for your upcoming auction by emailing: auctionteam@onlinepros.com.All Titled units must have a Clear Texas Certificate of Title in the seller's possession prior to scheduling the auction.All Trailers UNDER 4000 lbs. must have a Clear Texas Certificate of Title or Registration Receipt. All Trailers OVER 4000 lbs. must have a Clear Texas Certificate of Title.Verify that their are no outstanding liens on the title. Date of Lien on the front of the title should say, "None" or the 1st Lien Released on the front right should have a Date and be signed off by lender.A scanned copy of the front and the back of the titles per titled unit must be placed into the sharefile folder for verification of vin number.Please have all exemption plates removed from the titled units and have the entity name or any decals spray painted or taken off prior to auction. (Seller may use black or white spray paint.)Exchange tires, batteries, clean out radios, personal items and remove all trash prior to taking the auction photos.Please provide details about the types of titled units you intend to sell. Based on this information, we will place the relevant forms and procedural guidelines into the Sharefile folder for your reference and use.All Forms provided including the Vehicle Information Form and Auction Location Logistics Form must be completed in order to conduct a successful auction.All photos must be uploaded into the Sharefile folder in a jpg format. Please renumber photos to match Lot #'s. When using multiple photos for one lot please number 1-1, 1-2, 1-3, 1-4, 1-5. Photos required engine, tires, interior - dash, seats, headliner, or any noteworthy interior features, Vin, exterior - front, front right angle, front left angle, back, back right angle, & back left angle. Get a photo of any damaged areas for the bidders review. **Please do not place photos within a pdf, word, or google drive format.**Once all auction detail is finalized and uploaded into the Sharefile folder provided. Please contact the Auction Team. A team member will review and communicate with seller if additional information is required.

Selling Police Vehicles & Equipment

Pursuant to the Texas Local Government Code: Sec. 272.006 – Sale or Transfer of Law Enforcement Vehicle:

(a) In this section, "political subdivision" means a county, municipality, school district, junior college district, other special district, or other subdivision of state government.

(b) A political subdivision may not sell or transfer a marked patrol car or other law enforcement motor vehicle to the public unless the political subdivision first removes any equipment or insignia that could mislead a reasonable person to believe that the vehicle is a law enforcement motor vehicle, including any police light, siren, amber warning light, spotlight, grill light, antenna, emblem, outline of an emblem, or emergency vehicle equipment.

Operational Videos

Seller may provide a 30-45 second video of titled unit running for marketing purposes. Seller may photograph engine running only or can show full operational of driving forward, turning around, and driving backwards to park.If using iphone download video directly from icloud and drop into Sharefile. An emailed video will show too much distortion online. Make sure to verify which lot # per video number.
