A key aspect of each Leadership Toledo Signature Program is the opportunity for participants to both expand their knowledge of local organizations and hone leadership skills through participation in a small group Community Impact Project. Class members self-select their projects from those submitted through this unique process offered to nonprofit and civic organizations. Selected organizations benefit from the energy and talents of a small group of outstanding volunteers motivated to make an impact while helping Leadership Toledo encourage the further development of community awareness, critical thinking skills, and group dynamics.
Proposals must be submitted through Leadership Toledo’s online application process. The deadline for proposals is October 1st, 2024. Proposals must be received by 11:59 p.m. of the application deadline date in order to be considered.
Community Impact Projects come in all shapes and sizes. If you have an idea for your organization but are unsure if it would qualify as a Community Impact Project, please let us know. We would love to help you better understand this initiative and if we can be helpful to you and your mission.
