Join us for an Amateur Radio (HAM) Rally at the North Texas Airstream Community (NTAC) with a little something for everyone! We will have a crash course targeted to help you pass your exam, a banquet, a swap meet, tours, and lots of fun!

Cost & Registration:
The cost of the rally is $150 (includes Terraport fees, classes, and banquet) for one person; each additional person is $50 (includes classes and banquet) for 2 people.
Other Details
Anyone expecting to test for their first Amateur Radio license (Technician Class) at this event must read this entire manual to study for the 35-question Technician Class license exam: ARRL HAM Radio License Manual 5th Edition.
If you’re taking a General or Extra Class exam, these manuals are available from ARRL: ARRL General Class License Manual 10th Edition and ARRL Extra Class License Manual 12th Edition.
You must obtain an FCC Registration Number (FRN) from the FCC prior to the exam. There is no cost to obtain an FRN. The exam fee is $15.00, cash preferred, payable when you take the exam. The VE will inform you whether you passed or failed the exam and submit your exam to the FCC. When the applicant pays $35 to the FCC, a license will be issued via email.
