Rules:

• Thank you for your participation in the 5th Annual TrailMark Chili Cookoff to benefit the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation. Participation in this event is limited to TrailMark residents and their friends, family or invited guests. Please be sure to include your name as a resident or include the name of the TrailMark resident who invited you to enter.
  
  
• Judging the chili entries will once again be done by our very own Station #19 firefighters. In the event that they get called to an emergency, back-up judges have been selected.
  
  
• Foil pans and lids will be provided to you before the cook off. Please bring approximately 3-4 quarts of your chili piping hot, in the provided foil pan, 15 minutes before the start of the event. Your contact information is needed so that a couple of days prior to the event, we can contact you to confirm your participation and ensure we are prepared with enough supplies for the event.
  
  
• Your chili recipe should be homemade (honor system). No store bought or restaurant made chili’s are allowed.
• Toppings such as cheese, sour cream and jalapenos will be provided for chili tasters but the judges will be making their decision without the use of toppings and based on merit alone.
• A winner will be selected in each of the 4 categories: (1) traditional red chili, (2) green chili, (3) non-traditional chili such as white chicken chili, veggie chili, elk chili, etc. and (4) fan favorite
  
  The fan-favorite category will be voted on by all of the "tasters" at the event. Each of the 4 winners will get a $50 Amazon gift card and an engraved keepsake cutting board.
• All are invited to come and “taste” chili so please invite family, friends and neighbors to eat and to vote. A recommended donation amount is requested in order to buy tickets for tasting but donations of any amount are welcome. All donations will be given to the National Fire Fighters Foundation.
• In addition to chili, rolls from Texas Roadhouse, drinks, and desert will be provided.

There is no cost to enter your chili into the competition but you must enter below prior to October 1st, 2025.
